I have been taking guitar lessons for a month, and I just began learning to play “You Belong with Me” by Taylor Swift. My guitar teacher told me he would begin to work with me on easy songs and suggested that I pick some out to try at my next lesson. Any recommendations?
Some artists I like are Lady Antebellum, Mallary Hope, Gloriana, Taylor Swift, Kellie Pickler, Keith Urban, Carrie Underwood, Carter Twins, Rascal Flatts, Whitney Duncan and (my favorite) Miranda Lambert.
I forgot to mention…I’m learning acoustic guitar.
Chords I know
A, Aminor7, A minor, E, E minor, A7, E7,D, Dsus4, Fadd9, C, G, G7, F, Cadd9

Are you serious about learning how to play guitar online? If so, then Jamorama, a popular guitar-learning kit available for download and use online, is just what you need to play the guitar like a pro. Even if you’re a beginner guitar player (and by that, I mean you know NOTHING about playing the guitar!), then you should certainly advantage of the free newsletter series, which will get you off to a good start. But is the full product, which you have to pay a meager price for, worth your hard-earned money? Well, I’ve just finished looking at Ben Edwards’ latest developments to his guitar learning tool, and these are the highlights I’ve found. THE GOOD This product has me quite excited because it is so different from anything I have seen in a long time. In fact, that is why I have taken the time to sit and tell you all about it. The three books, Learn to Play Guitar with Jamorama for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced, are easy, fun, and seem to work. I’ve talked to other people who use Jamorama and they said each section is very user-friendly in everything from the basics to the more advanced stuff. In addition to this, the package includes two computer games to aid learning of musical notes, both in transcribing and in reading written music. These games make something VERY monotonous (for me anyway) like reading music, fun. If you take it seriously, then you’ll also develop the ear you need for transcribing songs from the radio. Both games are well presented, and are invaluable in developing the key skills necessary in being a better musician. Really, especially as a beginner, I found these tools priceless to my development. Oh yeah, you might also find this useful: A further bonus available to customers is a free online consultation to students who may have specific concerns or problems to address. This is very popular with hard to solve problems, or just beginner inquiries. On top of that, I got my answers within just a few hours, and the reply was very personal and helpful. Highly recommended!THE BAD This has actually changed recently as the whole site has gone through a great overhaul, but sometimes, the Members Area just was not as simplified as it should be. I said before that it could be better organized, and it has been. Â Perhaps it still is a bit crowded, but that’s only because there are so many more free bonuses you get for the same price. Â Not really “bad,” in my opinion, but others may disagree. THE FREE Don’t forget to check out the surprisingly thorough free e-course which covers everything from reading notes to reading music. Â A great introduction, if you want to “try before you buy. “Â OVERALL Overall, however, you may want to get the full Jamorama course, especially as it’s really quite cheap. Â If you’re a beginner who’s serious about learning to play guitar like me, this package is worth a look. If you’re not happy, just take advantage of the money-back guarantee. I didn’t have to, but if you’re worried about losing your money, it’s there. Jamorama is, in short, full of good, quality information, and most importantly, it is applied in a manner that is both fun and maximizes the learning progression of guitar students. And I think that’s what counts, wouldn’t you say? Don’t just take my word for it, though. Give Jamorama a look for yourself. For the very low price of $39. 95, can you really go wrong?

Music is its many forms provides enjoyment for people and learning to play guitar is just one way that you can have this pleasure for yourself and others. Before you can actually play the guitar properly though, you will need to have beginning guitar lessons as well as a guitar! On the face of it, as an instrument the guitar doesn’t seem to have much to recommend it to someone who’s looking to buy this instrument. However, all this can change from the very first moment you begin your first guitar lessons. Beginning guitar players should not become discouraged even before they take their first lessons.
These lessons are ones where you will have the opportunity of learning the theoretical aspect of guitar playing as well as being able to pluck at the strings to produce a pleasant sound.
You will be able to find instructors who can give you beginning guitar lessons from your local community and also from your local newspapers. These are not the only ways that you can learn about beginning guitar lessons. There are numerous books and audio tapes and CDs which will also provide this facility to you.
As with all of these beginning guitar books, CDs and lessons, the main fact that needs to be understood is that you should feel comfortable and confident of your ability to learn and play the guitar. Without this confidence you will not be able to understand the various instructions that you are given in your guitar lesson.
For this reason if you are learning to play the guitar from an instructor you should be able to ask the instructor for advice and help if you feel that you are missing out on some point of the lesson.
Since you can’t ask books or audio or DVD lessons for help you should be able to look or listen to the various steps and see where you fingers should be placed on the guitar and what chord each guitar string signifies.
Also once you are comfortable holding the guitar and you have learned to identify the various chords in your beginning guitar lessons, you can then proceed to learn how to combine these basic chords together to produce a little song or a tune.
As your beginning guitar lessons progress, you will gain the chance of trying out different styles of music. These different styles are well recognized sounds like that of jazz, rap, blues, rock ’n’ roll and many others.
With so many interesting facets of guitar playing to try out it is not that surprising that people love listening to the sound of a guitar. Having beginning guitar lessons is one of the best ways you can learn to play guitar and transform your little tunes into beautiful songs.
