This wood match-up creates a crisp texture to the overall sound of the instrument, and the light satin finish will allow the instrument to vibrate and project better than an instrument with high gloss. A truss rod built into the neck of the guitar will help keep the instrument in playable condition for years to come. The smaller scale of this instrument (considered ¾ sized) is specially designed with the younger player in mind and is highly recommended for the players that are starting between the ages of 8-12. This instrument also comes equipped with light gauge nylon strings for easier fingering as to not discourage the first time player. Hohner has a long tradition of supporting music education. At three-quarters the size of Taylor Guitar’s standard dreadnought, and with a slim 1 11/16-inch neck and a comfortable, compact shape, the guitar is just right for both the littlest player’s hands and anyone who likes to pick up and play on the go. Like the original Baby Taylor, the TSBT is crafted from sapele laminate back and sides and a solid Sitka spruce top.

The custom design is all Swift’s, featuring her well-known expression “Love, Love, Love” among delicate vines that encircle the soundhole. To commemorate the songwriting spirit of her album, the guitar features the word “Fearless” along with Swift’s signature inscribed above the bridge.

“I wanted to share my passion for playing guitar with my fans,” Taylor Swift said.

“For a beginner, finding the right guitar can be intimidating, but this guitar, it’s the perfect size. Even if you’ve been playing for years, it’s a great size to travel with. I used to sit in the back seat of the rental car while I was on my radio tour at 16, writing songs on my Baby Taylor. I love the sound, and I love those memories.”
