I can ‘t decide if I should learn the bass guitar or the acoustic guitar . I ‘ve always been wanting to learn the acoustic , but since I wanna find a band to play in it now it seems that I should pick up the bass cos it ’s harder to find a bassist… I wanna play in a pop rock band when I grow up and I ‘ve always been dreaming of being a guitarist and i love songwriting , so I ‘ve always thought that perhaps I should learn the acoustic first . But now if I pick up the bass I think I can find a band to play in almost immediately . I can ‘t decide what to learn first ! Advice please ?

PS : I am thirteen and I play a bit of guitar already , as well as piano and I can play cello too ( while i was forced to play in the symphonic band ) , so even though bass strings might be thicker i don ‘t think it will be a big problem …
