I am very anxious and excited to begin Guitar Lessons, and am anxious for some scoop from those of you that have been there, done that.
I’m a 30 year old professional woman, play the piano on an intermediate level, and have always wanted to learn to play guitar ~ I will be sticking with it, but want to start off on the right foot to ensure my success :0)
1) Is it better to go to an instructor, or have one come to my home?
2) Are 1 hour lessons too long? Should I keep it at a half hour?
3) What is considered too cheap/too pricey for lessons?
4) I have a good shape Yamaha C40 (I think??) classical nylon string guitar. Is it cost effective to have it restrung and/or refurbished, or just replace? It’s in great shape except some rusty looking strings.
5) If so, where do I take it?
Sorry for being so wordy, but these are my questions I’ve been unable to find answers for online ^..^
