The learn and master guitar course by Legacy Learning Systems is a comprehensive instruction in guitar class on DVD. It is delivered to your home full of information and different approaches to learning guitar. The first route of learning the guitar are the DVD sessions. These are followed by the workshops and their own practice time. To help fully integrate the sessions in their consciousness there is also a 107 page book to continue the play sessions and CD's to consolidate what you have learned. Yet this also is a member-only website as a place to learn and master the master of the guitar you can go to seek further learning valuable information for your guitar. The DVD, with 20 sessions in total, are filled with extensive instruction in an environment that is very comfortable and in a very good pace for any guitarist. They are produced very well with a split screen so the student can see the instructor (Steve Krenz) play guitar and also view the notes, not only in tablature, but also in musical notation. These are the songs learned in the sessions of play with a full band and a variety of rhythms. Incorporating these with a metronome and they are really great tools to learn proper rhythm and strumming techniques. What better way to learn to play a song with a band and play at the pace you feel comfortable. The book is essentially more sessions of paper! It is one hundred and seven pages of learning. Legacy definitely put some thought into this comprehensive learning tool. The book covers all the meetings and lets you write notes and do different exercises without a guitar so they can incorporate the lessons with different learning processes to really lock in what is taught. I really had a sense of a learning experience complete with DVD, jam along CD's, workshops, guitar sections and book knowledge. Above all this, the course also as a member access to information and web master of Guitar-site. There you can take extra exercises and ask questions in a chat board that can be answered by peers or Steve Krenz himself. This is an additional feature of this great guitar very effective learning tool. If you are looking for a guitar lesson DVD that has the best potential to help you achieve your goal, learn and master the guitar is your best option. If you follow the suggested time for each session of the course will take about a year. Over time, good manners, about fifteen minutes to half an hour a day, you will be very pleased with the success rate. Cost for the product is much cheaper than a year of personal experience!
