It seems like there are millions of chord and scale books out there and after looking at several I decided on these. I bought both the Chord and the Scale Deck. Here’s what I love about these:
They are easy to read…no guessing if you are in the right positon or if your fingers are on the right frets
It sticks to the most popular chords of C, G, D, A and E, which is perfect for a beginner or someone comming back after 20 years like myself.
The front of the card shows the fingering, flip it over and you are shown the chord again with a small description, the scale and arpeggio. Don’t know what an arpeggio is, just look it up in the small glossary
The size, though too big to keep in my case, it is just the perfect fit in your hand. All the cards are attached and all you do is fan out the deck, find the chord or scale you want and play away!
It’s a great idea and I would really recommend these to anyone.

this simple product was inexpensive and perfect for the job! It’s sturdy and a great size. It works well for my 7 year old to practice the hand positions on the cards and then transfer them to the guitar. Nice product!

This book is a must have for all guitar players. Whether you want to make sure you have something correct,or look up a new chords to play, this book has them all. It contains all the cords, and lets you see them, and practice them on a life size guitar head. The Entire book is shaped like the head and first eight or ten frets on the neck, and each page has a different chords, with the correct strings marked. If you want a book of chords, this is the book to get, and at such a great price, why not?

This deck (and others from the same manufacturer) is really handy because of the binding it uses. Each page/card is attached to a swivel allowing you to flip to the right chord quickly, while making sure the entire deck doesn’t spill across the floor when you (or your cat) inevitably knocks it off the table/stand/etc.
The easy-to-see diagrams provide a lot of detail considering it is designed to be a quick reference format.
I would prefer having more chords at my fingertips but that’s just me. There are electronic gadgets and computer software available if you crave something more comprehensive.
This set covers the most commonly used chords and would be just fine for beginning to intermediate players.

I was and still I am so happy when I encountered the Guitar Chord Deck. I had been looking for the easiest way to explain and to teach the chords to my students, however, they seemed not to get the point. After purchasing some of the Guitar Chord Decks, not only I am happy with the product, but also the students are really getting into the lesson itself. Now, they could learn the chord faster by placing their fingers on whatever chord in the Chord Deck, and after getting the grip of the chord, then, they move their fingers and placing them on their guitars. It is nice to see the smile of satisfaction on their faces.
