They dont really teach you how to play…but they give you free notes to playing a song. I used that when I wanted to learn to play Alicia Keys on the piano

all you need to do is 1. get a guitar chords chart,book,poster & start learning where to put your fingers to do the chords & practice them every day possible 2. Learn the basic chords first, :G,C,D,Dm,A,Am,E,Em,&F m= minor. If you could play thes you could play literally thousands of songs. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE. THATS WHAT AN INSTRUCTOR WOULD SAY.
