  3. sourcehacker Says:

two questions, is this the version of this song by him that we’d hear on the radio? and what kinda pickups are he using? anyone?

Jeff Healey was an AMAZING musician. It’s so sad that some hairdresser took advantage of his blindness & said, “Hey, man, you look AWESOME,” when really, he had just given the man a permed mullet. There is a special place in Hell for that hairdresser. Meanwhile, our dear Jeff is playing with the angels. (hopefully with a better head of hair this time)

I’ve rarely felt so upset at the death of anyone, before or since. We’ve lost a very talented musician, as well as a warm and giving human being.

I saw Jeff Healey in Dallas, Tx in the 90’s, I was bout 15′ from him and he played this and believe me he was a friggin monster. He rocked the shit out of this song I know G. Harrison would’ve thought he was so beautiful and he was just amazing. Jeff was another blind badass!
